Seignosse has remained a very authentic town, despite its intense tourist activity, retaining its traditional Landes customs and heritage. The town offers a vast 6-kilometer stretch of fine sandy beaches, divided into 5 different beaches. As you move away from the coastline, you enter a vast forest of Landes pines. Every Wednesday morning, between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., a food market takes place under the covered hall in Seignosse’s town center. During the Easter holidays and the summer season, a seasonal market is set up at Place Gentille and Avenue Chambrelent. Seignosse has two primary schools. The nearest middle schools and high schools are located in Capbreton and Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse. The town provides various sports facilities and amenities, including tennis courts, a left-hand wall, football fields, an 18-hole golf course, and a water park. Seignosse is also equipped with a greenway that runs through the town, perfect for cycling tours.
