Located by the sea, the seaside town of Anglet boasts 4.5 kilometers of coastline. Anglet is bordered to the north by the mouth of the Adour River, to the west by Biarritz and the ocean, to the south by Bassussarry, and to the east by Bayonne. A total of 11 beaches stretch along the Anglet coastline.

The city of Anglet has a unique urban structure. Very expansive, it does not have a true city center and is divided into several neighborhoods. The real estate market is quite dynamic, with prices per square meter increasing significantly the closer you get to the coastline. However, the city has not undergone massive urbanization, and its waterfront remains preserved.

Connected by the A63 highway and crossed by major roads, Anglet easily links to nearby cities. The Biarritz Pays Basque Airport (which, despite its name, is located in Anglet) connects to Paris and other French cities as well as international destinations every day.

The city of Anglet has 19 schools: 8 public preschools, 6 public elementary schools, 4 private primary schools, and 1 public primary school. There are also two middle schools and two high schools, including one technical school, a construction institute, and an art school.

Anglet has two popular markets: the Quintaou market, open every Thursday and Sunday morning, and the recently renovated Halles des 5 Cantons, which opens every morning from Tuesday to Sunday, as well as Friday afternoons from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
